Current Volunteer Opportunities! 
 
April 18th -- EVOLVE! silent auction/social event
5:30 pm - 10:30 pm 
Several volunteers needed to set up before the event and assist during the event. 
 
April 24th -- New Volunteer Orientation
6:30 pm -8:30pm @ the YouthPride Center
Two volunteers needed to assist in leading a new volunteer orientation. 
Volunteers will greet new volunteers, lead tours of the center, and talk about their experience as a YP volunteer.
 
April 25th -- GSU Youth Fair
1 p.m. - 4 p.m. @ GSU downtown campus
Volunteers will talk to students about YP and what programs it offers.
Volunteers will also pass out information about the center and provide safe sex tools.

April 25th --  Friday Night Dance Series
Volunteers are needed for various shifts from 7:45 p.m. until Midnight @ the YP Center.
Volunteers will preform usual chaperoning duties at the dance on a rotating schedule. 

 
 
SPECIAL EVENT FOR VOLUNTEERS! 
Did you know that April 27th - May 3rd is National Volunteer Appreciation Week? YouthPride is planning to host the first ever YP Volunteer Appreciation Social.  The event is slated for May 1st from 7:30 - 9:30 p.m. at the YouthPride Ccenter. Please check back for updates on this event.

Interested in becoming a volunteer?
 
Contact Paul Rogers, YouthPride's Volunteer Coordinator. Please plan to join us at the next Volunteer Orientation. It will be held on April 24th, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Soft drinks and light snacks will be provided. This event will give you with the opportunity to learn more about YouthPride and our volunteer program. There is no cost to attend the orientation. However, should you decide that you want to become a volunteer and help our youth then you will need to submit a volunteer application, along with a $25.00 application fee to cover the cost for a background check.
